Charger XTAR ET4S AA/AAA Li-ION/Ni-MH

XTAR 's latest innovative ET4S charger is an intelligent device for charging Li-ION, Ni-MH and Ni-CD cells in AA and AAA sizes. The charger can charge different cells at the same time. It automatically recognizes the type of battery (manufacturing technology). It automatically adjusts the voltage and current delivered to the batteries to ensure optimal charging with minimal consumption of the cells. Charging is controlled by the MCU microprocessor, which automatically (using the Delta-V method and a timer) disconnects the high charging current when the battery is fully charged to an optimal degree. It then switches to a low maintenance current charging mode, which ensures maximum battery life and performance. This not only makes it environmentally friendly, but also saves money. Created for 1.5V Li-ION batteries, it is also compatible with AA and AAA Ni-MH and Ni-CD batteries. Specially created Li-ION 1.5V AA rechargeable batteries, give the possibility to use them like regular alkaline batteries and Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, which have the same size. In addition, such cells are distinguished by their high power and large capacity of 3.3Wh, and this is enough for daily use.

The charger does not charge Li-ION 3.6V/ 3.7V batteries.

The 0V reactivation of discharged cells, involves inserting the cell into the charger and checking the voltage. With this function, we can check any cell of the right size. When a discharged cell is detected, the charger will attempt to reactivate it. Note that exceeding the minimum voltage on the cell will limit the possibility of reactivating and saving such a battery.

Caution: cells discharged below a certain level are irreversibly damaged and reactivation may not be possible. Avoid discharging Li-ION batteries too deeply. This can lead to a significant reduction in their life and capacity or cause them to fail completely.
